Thank you for that catch and for letting us know. I’ve cleaned up that section to make it a bit easier to understand and to correct the math. Thanks again and happy hiking!

Thanks for the kind feedback and I’m glad you found the right tent for you! And best of luck on your upcoming AT thru-hike! That’s awesome.

I also found the tent fly fabric to be flimsy, and had some trouble figuring out how to set it up. So, sent it back and got the Nemo Hornet Elite 2P (2.1 lbs) due to a deeply discounted price. I paid 30% below MSRP. It was easy to setup, the doors are sterdy, and the rainfly is solid. The first night, I got a steady rain, 35 mph wind gusts and it stayed dry inside. The tent dried quickly the next day. I’m impressed with the weight and packability. Thanks for the review! Although, I didn’t get the chance to try the MSR tent, I’m confident I made the right choice. I’ll be using the Hornet Elite for an AT thru-hike in the near future.

That’s the only thing I felt the dragonfly did better.
