The biggest selling point is it’s ease of set-up, like you mentioned. With traditional chairs, I find myself almost never using the chair except at camp. I don’t want to waste the time unpacking/setting up/re-packing on my breaks, so it ends up not really being worth the weight. The Crazy Creek chair sets up super fast and can be used on many types of terrain. I don’t have to worry about sinking into the sand or tipping over. And the back support is much better than a Helinox/Flexlite style IMO.

Additionally, I can use this chair inside my tent. The first night we got surprised by a sudden rainstorm right as we started dinner. I just set up the chair in my tent, ate a comfortable meal, and relaxed.

If you are looking for a comfortable chair that you will actually use frequently enough to justify the added weight, I think this is a top contender.
