Thanks hc, we agree. It seems to be more a case of the plastic than the pot connection. To us, it’s not that big of a deal, and certainly not a deal breaker, but we do wish it was as sturdy as the Windburner. In the long run, we ultimately think it will be a non-issue, though we suspect that the overall durability of the Windburner will be slightly better. Thanks for the comment!

(if you attach pot and hold the metal part that it directly contacts and try to wiggle it it’s secure, but if you grab the very bottom of the stove and wiggle it, you’ll see it rocks back and forth)
