Thanks for clarifying the testing standards and real-world efficiency numbers. That context is helpful for readers comparing the NB10000 Gen 3 to other power banks. As you said – mileage varies on all power banks depending on battery health, charging cable quality, device power draw, and ambient temperature.

Also note that Nitecore used a new industry standard for testing the efficiency of the NB10000 Gen 3, resulting in slightly less published efficiency than Gen 2. It’s the same battery inside, the actual efficiency has not changed, only the published efficiency. (Think of it like the sleeping bag comfort ratings that changed when a new industry standard was applied – the bags didn’t change, but the comfort ratings did). I’ve seen independent test results on the Gen 3 vary between 60% and 69%, but of course much depends on the test setup and conditions. Your mileage will vary.

I compared this to Nitecore Pocket 10000 USB-C Power Bank with Built-In Cable which returned 12% less charging on my S25+ in same conditions. Also overall the spec are less on this then on V2. Just an FYI.
