Wore them to Everest base camp, multi day backpacking trips, to camp Muir on Rainier. They have the support to carry a full pack, and can also work as trail runners. They breathe well but always keep my feet dry …even after 8 hrs trekking in the rain. The tread is aggressive and grips well on nearly all surfaces. My feet feel supported on long days with a pack. Did the approach to Aconcagua and ended up wearing these all the way to camp 1. I have a low volume on the narrow side foot that needs a little support and these are perfect. I have added super feet but not sure they really need them
