a quick follow-up question, the zpacks arc blast pack you mentioned in your backpacks list, you talk about the material its made of being super light and some of it’s features, but how would you rate its durability?

we’re in south florida and lots of the wilderness here can be harsh on equipment (lots of saw palmettos, etc ) would you expect it to be able to withstand brushes against these kinds of plants?

I had a quick question, I’m looking at getting a new pack and really liked the gorilla ultralight you showcased

my question is, are there any downsides to having an oversized pack?

aside from the desire to fill it more, which I dont struggle with much, are there any concerns that being under-filled would be uncomfortable or lead to any issues?

I was originally going to get the 40, but if there are no issues ( aside from the small wt increase from larger pack ), i was thinking of getting a 50 or 55 just to have the possibility of larger pack sizes down the road, whether for longer trips or helping my wife carry some of her gear

also if have any obvious recommendations for a 50 or 55 liter what would they be?

Thanks,
